It seems that for Narcs, outside appearances are everything no matter how much it screws up the inside. The old saying, "it's whats on the inside that matters" means nothing to a narcissist person, it is all about how people, mostly strangers or those who can fill their supply, see them. In today's superficial society, those that have the nicer house or the better car are seen as being better.
However, in my experience, there is this kind of narc that wants everything to seem perfect, and there is the the opposite kind that thrives on chaos and the sympathy they can get from outside people because of it. What is that kind of narcissistic person called?
